Changing The Future Outcome provides all of it’s free members with landing pages, twice weekly training calls, and a product website branded with your name. Basically, everything that you need to get started fast.
But what about taking it to the next level?
Anyone with a little bit of experience in network marketing will soon realize that the top performers usually enhance their marketing efforts with a few extra tools.
- A customized landing page that collects emails so that you can build a list.
- An auto responder to follow up with the people on your list.
- And most importantly, a quality traffic source that drives visitors to your landing page.
Yes, these work. But there can often be a cost barrier for the new affiliate looking to use these enhancements. Setting up a landing page with an autoresponder (and getting traffic to it) can be both time consuming and costly.
I find it incumbent upon me to provide my associates with additional marketing tools at little to no cost. I also provide the landing page templates and autoresponder sequence, along with one-on-one coaching. (If you want to get involved with network marketing…you WILL have to speak with your team members).
Here is a brief list of some of the low cost, or free, online marketing tools I recommend to my new associates:
Get a domain
OK, this will be your only upfront cost, but it will be the one with the most long-term benefit. A custom domain (with email) is a great way to brand yourself as a professional. There’s no need to build out a website (but highly recommended) because you can also use the domain for tracking and pluging in a custom landing page from an outside service.
I recommend Namecheap.
I know, I know…most people are hot on Bluehost or Hostgator, but for years now, I have never had any issues with Namecheap. Their service and support have been first rate. And the best part: they really are cheap. A simple domain with basic hosting for a whole year is as little as $25 for new customers.
A great place to start. If your just beginning, you don’t need dedicated hosting with all the bells and whistles. Start small and scale up as your business grows.
Autoresponder with landing page
Getresponse, Aweber, Mailchimp and Mailerlite all now offer landing pages as part of their product suite. Sure, the software is usually very basic, but it’s also very effective when done well. This is a great way to keep your pages and your list all in one place.
Getresponse and Aweber offer 30 day free trials, while both Mailchimp and Mailerlite offer forever free plans upto a number of subscribers.
There are also several free landing page WordPress plugins available for those with a hosted domain such as WP Landing Pages.
I use and recommend Drip for my email automation. It’s free for life for up to 100 subscribers. I connect Drip to my custom landing page built using a free WordPress plugin.
This is the hardest part (or easist…depending on your perspective).
How many offers have you seen for cheap, guaranteed traffic? And how many times have you wasted your money on these offers?
Quality traffic is NOT cheap. And when I say ‘quality traffic’, I mean real Tier 1 english speaking visitors who came to your website because they were specifically looking for an opportunity. Not some random click who was incentived to visit your link in order to earn credits for themselves.
I recommend IBO Toolbox
This is actually more of a social community. However it’s a community of like minded individuals who own (or are looking to own) their own home based business. For a complete breakdown, please read this previous article.
As far as the traffic that come from IBO Toolbox, it is primarily Tier 1, with most of it’s active members coming from the US. The key is to stay active and supportive of other members. This will drive traffic to your profile and hits to your website. (And the opt-in rates are, so far, excellent.)
My secret source of traffic
OK. Now that I’ve covered a few basic resources at little to no cost, it’s time to mention one that you’ll want to consider paying for.
The CTFO Legacy Team has contracted with a PPC company to provide it’s members with the option of paying for traffic. But this is no ordinary traffic. It’s Tier 1, US only, no mobile or tablet (just desktop), and most importantly, the traffic is adwords PPC based.
One big caveat: it’s not cheap.
The average cost is around $80 for 100 clicks. However, expect an opt-in rate of approximately 20-30% using a proper lead capture page, with 10-20% of those opt-in’s upgrading to a paid member. I’ll let you work your own numbers to see if this scales for you.
Paying for this type of traffic are for those with a long-term vision! This requires commitment.
Unfortunately, I will not be sharing the link to this traffic source within this artcle. It is for CTFO members only, and you will have to call me to request it.
I hope that you’ll find these handful of tools helpful in your business building efforts. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below.
To your health and success,
